Global preferences

A step of the Claude Code development environment tree on Gradus, in the Project memory area: CLAUDE.md, docs, conventions.

Keep personal preferences that apply to every project (commit style, language, prose rules) in the user-level CLAUDE.md, not in the repository.

Usually comes after: Project CLAUDE.md.

Create or update ~/.claude/CLAUDE.md with the preferences that should apply to every repository I work in: commit message style, which language to answer in, prose and code-comment rules. Move any such personal rules out of this repository's CLAUDE.md so the project file keeps only project facts.
